Sage would like to make you aware of an event to promote public and professional awareness of the implications of the Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Act 2015. Speakers will explore the benefits and challenges of the legislation from the citizen’s perspective. It will also focus on the urgent need for legislation to protect the rights of people threatened with deprivation of liberty in a care facility, the importance of legislation to ensure safeguarding of adults who may be vulnerable and the need for a National Safeguarding Service and Agency. Sage is grateful for the support of the Institute of Banking for this event.
