21st ANNUAL STROKE STUDY DAY

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS – GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION
The Irish Heart Foundation Stroke Council was established in 1997 and is dedicated to furthering excellence in stroke care in Ireland. Abstracts are now invited for POSTER AND ORAL presentations at the 21st Annual Stroke Study Day. Submissions on all aspects of stroke care are welcome.

Abstracts are now invited for POSTER AND ORAL presentations. Submissions on all aspects of stroke care are welcome. Abstracts should be submitted online through the IHFStroke2018 web application https://strokeconference2018.exordo.com. A 300 word limit applies. Please do not use tables or figures. References and ethical approval should be detailed in the ‘Additional Info’ section and will not contribute towards word count. All sections of the online application must be completed. Abstract guidelines are detailed on the above web application. Abstracts which do not adhere to these guidelines will NOT be considered. PLEASE NOTE the closing date for abstract submission of Monday 26 February at 5pm.
Both research reports and practice/service development reports will be accepted. Both qualitative and quantitative methodologies are welcome.
Prizes will be awarded for best poster and oral presentation. The lead presenter may be from nursing, allied health professional or medical disciplines. Presenters must register and be in attendance at the conference to be eligible for awards. Consultants may submit and present work, but are excluded from eligibility for prizes.
Closing date for abstract submission – Monday 26st February 2018 by 5pm
Presenters will be notified of the outcome by Friday 23rd March 2018
