Know The Score: New HSE guide focuses on the risks of alcohol & drugs for young people, launched today, 27 November. The resource highlights the importance of safety and wellbeing in all alcohol and drug related decisions.


Know The Score is a resource for teachers of senior cycle students and is aimed at 15-18 year olds. It is the first national evidence-based resource on alcohol and drugs for senior cycle students. Public health and education professionals helped develop this resource with input from teachers and young people. Click here for more information about Know The Score.

The content is based on research about effective approaches to the prevention of substance misuse. The 14 lessons and supporting digital content will inform discussions about alcohol and drugs in the classroom.
