During 2018 the Healthy and Positive Ageing Initiative, on behalf of the Department of Health, will carry out a comprehensive review of actions, interventions and programmes relating to older people and ageing with a particular focus on those developed or completed since the publication of the National Positive Ageing Strategy (2013).

This review will focus on each of the four National Positive Ageing Strategy (NPAS) goals (Participation, Health, Security and Research).
The main deliverable will be a digital directory of actions, interventions and programmes carried out by policy makers and stakeholders at national and local level linked to the goals and action areas of the NPAS and the Age Friendly/WHO domain areas.

Internal and external actions and programmes relating to older people are of interest.
If you have carried out actions or programmes that you think may be relevant to any of the Goals or Action Areas and wish to have information about your activities included in this directory, we would be grateful if you could complete a short survey detailing your actions in this area. The link to this survey is located below.

The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete. If you wish, you may discuss more than one action/initiative, in which case the survey will take longer. Before you begin the survey it may be worthwhile gathering the relevant information about your action(s) or initiative(s) so you have it at hand.

Alternatively, you can reply to this e-mail with a description of the action(s) or initiative(s) you have delivered.
If you feel there is a more suitable contact to address this issue then it would be appreciated if you could put me in contact with them.
