Webinar places available to join National Progressing Disability Services (PDS) Conference – Friday 6 December 2019. If you are interested, pre-registration for Webinar access is essential by 29 November 2019.  Please email denise.keoghan@hse.ie to register.

The second National PDS Conference is taking place in Mary Immaculate College, Limerick on Friday 6 December 2019.  The theme this year is: Family Centred Practice.  The conference will support competency development and knowledge sharing amongst Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) and services currently planning reconfiguration into CDNTs.

Onsite tickets for staff working in or transitioning to CDNTs, and parents, have been allocated to each CHO.  In addition, access via Webinar to all Plenary Sessions and two Breakout Workshops is also available.

Webinar licenses are limited and priority will be given to those hosting group viewings in order to maximise access to the conference and its overall impact.

The History of the Book in the Early Modern Period: 1450 to 1800’ –new online course –click here for more information.

The course is free and runs for 4 weeks.

This course, which has been co-ordinated by the Librarian of the Edward Worth Library in conjunction with academics in the School of English and the School of History and Humanities in Trinity College Dublin, showcases the wonderful resources of the Edward Worth Library in Dr Steevens’ Hospital, and the Long Room in Trinity College Dublin.

Nurses and Midwives for Inclusion Health: Partnership in Practice is a new professional interest group of nurse and midwife practitioners working in contexts where access to/uptake of health services is limited as a result of marginalisation, discrimination or lack of awareness.

In collaboration with the School of Nursing, Psychotherapy and Community Health, Dublin City University and The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, we invite you to our inaugural networking event and launch on Friday 29th November 9.15am – 5pm.
