The School of Nursing and Midwifery are pleased to present a Research Symposium entitled

Celebrating Excellence in Research, Innovation & Impact: 10 Years of IDS-TILDA

This symposium will include key findings from IDS-TILDA research, covering topics such as physical health (bone health, constipation, falls, obesity, cognitive health and dementia); mental health; medications and the social aspect (social participation, loneliness and care-giving).

In addition, there will be a presentation about the Trinity Centre for Ageing and Intellectual Disability which will examine strategic research priorities and training initiatives developed by the Centre. This is will look at how impact can be maximised through public, patient involvement in health research and examine ageing and intellectual disability research from a global perspective.

There will be short break during the event, where light refreshments will be served.
