Alcohol and other Drugs in the Workplace – Navigating a complex issue –

The Diversity, Equality and Inclusion function of National HR are pleased to inform you that dates have been identified and events organised for ‘Alcohol and other Drugs in the Workplace – Navigating a complex issue’ training for health service managers/supervisors.

This training day is for all Managers and Supervisors who manage people and will be of particular benefit to those who may be managing complex alcohol or drug addictions in the workplace, or who are supporting family members.  It will introduce Managers and Supervisors to skills and the “how to” language that ensures colleagues who have alcohol or other drug (intoxicant) related work performance issues are spoken to constructively and respectfully.  The training is relevant to the implementation of Health and Safety and Intoxicant Misuse policy.

The Diversity, Equality and Inclusion team in consultation with the Alcohol Forum, who will be delivering this programme, have scheduled dates nationally.

This is a one day training event commencing at 9.30am to 5pm.
