Activity Based Funding Conference “The Quality Agenda”

This year’s Activity Based Funding Conference will take place on Thursday 11th May from 8.30am to 4pm at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin 8.  The theme for this year’s conference is quality and the agenda will focus on how ABF can drive the Quality Agenda and the implications for Clinical Practice.

The keynote speaker for this year’s conference is Mr. James Downey,  CEO, Independent Hospital Pricing Authority (IPHA) who is tasked with implementing Activity Based Funding Nationally in Australia, working in partnership with the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care to ensure that pricing, quality and performance measures for public hospitals are complementary.  James’s  keynote speech is titled “ Introducing Quality and Safety to Public Hospital Funding in Australia”
